Introduction

The Equal Opportunity Cell (E.O.C.) has been established to ensure that all learners irrespective of caste, creed, gender, religion, disability, or socio-economic background have equal access to educational opportunities. The cell aims to create an inclusive academic environment by addressing issues of inequality, promoting diversity, and supporting disadvantaged groups. It works to uphold the principles of social justice and equity within the institution.

Objectives

  • 1. To ensure equal access to all academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities for learners from marginalized and underrepresented groups.
  • 2. To create awareness about social inclusion, gender sensitivity, and rights of differently abled and minority learners.
  • 3. To provide academic and financial support through scholarships, remedial coaching, and mentorship.
  • 4. To coordinate with government agencies for welfare schemes and grants.
  • 5. To organize workshops, seminars, and sensitization programs promoting equality and inclusivity.

Outcomes

  • 1. Promotion of inclusivity and social harmony within the institution.
  • 2. Improved academic participation and performance of learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • 3. Enhanced awareness of equality, diversity, and rights among the campus community.
